As mentioned in at least ten threads, there is no full screen video playback.

tried to unbrand my voda s700i using totalserver client
got 'enabling functionalities....'
then 'error connecting to server!'
phone was KO'd, had to take it to a vodaphone shop (uk) where they gave me a brand new one as they claimed they didnt have the software in to flash it back to normal. any ideas how to get the unbranding to work? |

no i acted the innocent and said id had trouble porting my number across (which wasnt a lie) and somehow managed to break my phone software *blinks eyes innocently*. i recieved a call on it in the shop, even tho the phone read 'configuartion error contact mobile operator' which was wierd.
the guy didnt look too bright in all honesty, i even had the cheek to ask if they had any unbranded ones there... |

The phone show it's an S700i but the phone monitor detect it as S700c, is there anybody have an idea what it could be?

Nothing to worry about...
When i get to the service menu, mine says it's a K700i

I bought it from my country (Syria), the middle east version have an Arabic letters on the keypad (in addition to the English letters) so I looked for one without Arabic and I found this one, what is weird that it support only English - French - Pyccknn and Arabic and there is no Chinese in it, what I’m afraid from that if I used the online update someday it will install the Chinese version so I’ll loose the support of Arabic language, is it possible or not? |

The online update flash your phone according to the CDA#
So if your CDA is configured as S700c, after you flash it, it will turn into a Chinese version indeed. So make sure you check your CDA# before fooling around with online update. |

So I'm in the safe side coz my CDA# is:
CDA102286/113A2A
Cxc125941 A3b032
EMEA_6
Is that right? |

Just to check. Is it possible to use the Online Update site to upgrade the s700 yet? I have been told that this is currently not possible. |
