Mine is R3B032
I have contacted Sony Ericsson about the bluetooth problems and they replied that the problem will be resolved in the new firmware. Does anyone have a newer firmware than mine?
Could those with newer firmwares test out their bluetooth?
Do you get random lockups when using bluetooth headset?
Thanks!!

From what I have read, you have the current software. There are only 2 at the mo. R3b and R3c. R3c being branded vodafone software.
You dont need the first * to get the software menu.

I've been using my HBH-300 with my S700i and never had any problems.
Couldn't send files to 6600 though.

I have HBH-35, and this bluetooth headset works fine with T630, but when I changed my phone S700i, the headset seems to have some major compatibility issues. It has problem disconnecting bluetooth with S700i, and just remain connected, draining out all the battery in a few hours. If I force turning the bluetooth headset off, it would, however, disconnects. But when I turn the headset back on, the headset would go ahead and connects the S700i without me pressing any button immediately!! It's extremely odd, since this headset works perfectly fine with T630...
Does anyone have similar problem???????

I have the same problem, but I am using the Jabra blue tooth...it worked fine with the T610, P900. With the S700 it stays on for some reason. THe good news is that I read tat sony will fix this issue in the next update..
I am hoping that they will add the calling card feature the S700 too. I use my calling card a lot...I do not understand why they removed this feature in the new phone.

@mange69
i had also experienced the same bug with the phonelock, so i gave SE a 'quick' call cuz I personally found it really irritating, they're response was....."they are aware of the issue & it's not a bug, the software was designed like that for security perposes" after explaining that this is not what it says in the instruction book, i was told it was definately meant 2 like that and that it was unlikely that it would change in any later firmware updates:-( |

I have no such problem with my S700i. When I put phone lock on automatic, it won't ask me for password unless I inserted a different simcard and turn on the phone.
My software version:
