Chaps we have been talking about the 6600 and P900, but really the P910 is the same price now in the UK as the P900. The P910 has some fantastic additions such as a BT capability to allow a number of BT devices to be connected at the same time (e.g. GPS & BT headset) and the 32MB RAM is really useful, as is the built-in Quickword and Quicksheet. The built-in 64MB of user memory and Push email make this a really flexible tool. The added keypad enhances usability even further as does the HTML email viewer and 262k colour screen.

6600 can record unlimited video.
6600 has full-theme support.
6600 can support up to 1Gb of memory, more than the 128Mb P900 can. MMC cost much less than MSDuo.
6600 runs JBenchmark faster than P900 eventhough it has a slower processor
6600 has as full a PDA support as P900 - email, PIMs etc.
6600 has full support for full HTML browser (opera/netfront)
6600 can play NGAGE games and many more games support than P900.
6600 has more 3rd party software support than P900.
6600 is smaller, lighter, less fragile and cheaper than P900.
6600 captures better picture than P900"
Even with programs cannot beat the P900.
Mine P900 feels alot expesiv than plastick cover from 6600.
have you see the screen, that's pitty.
The 6600 don't have PDA support even with aplecation cannot match the P900.
You mean full sreen watch 3GP movies even that cannot match the P900.
And still mono |

^ | Nice comeback! about 32 other people have said it, but heres my .02. if gagetry is more important that money(me, and most p9xx owners) than the p900 wins, hands down thx to the screen. If money IS important, then the 6600 is better. STRAIGHTUP

well in that case we shoul compare 6630 vs p930 and then the difference is obivious. 6630 is featurewise better ..
has got edge, 3g support 1mpix camera, etc etc .. but the whole debate is useless. look at draak, everyone will fight for its favourtie device |

aquila2 The 6630 is not available yet. The A1000 from Moto, which is a UIQ 3g phone, has AGPS. No Nokia phone has this capability. I think the the A1000 is a better point of comparisonthan the P910, which is 2g.

officialy the p910 will available approximately at the same day as 6630 will be. regarding AGPS, look overseas, even very simple cell phones (like 3310 in the US version) has got AGPS, and it's not a big deal .. |

Sincerely I have a 6600 and a P900, they are very diiferent kind of phones. The P900 is a handheld too, and I cant say that the 6600 is a smartphone. It is a good phone but is getting older and if you prefer Nokia I think is better to get the new phones they are launching now.
Best,
Antonio

@draak1:
I am just presenting the fact about 6600
i am not trying to convince you of anything. if u r just interested to see only what u want to see, that's ok with me too.
btw: this thread is not comparing P900 to 6600. it is about whether 6600 can do everything P900 can.

Touchscreen may not seem that much to people that havent used a p900/any touchscreen device...but onec you use it for a little while, then go back...you wont. its that good

u can play chess (and about any kind of boardgame) on 6600 - either Java or native. not sure about the other games u mentioned. there are so many games available on series 60 that i lost count.
but main advantage of 6600 is playing ngage games. these are the best games (size of 10-30Mb per game). e.g Doom, pandemomnium, tony hawk, sonic, spliter cell etc.
i agree with u that P900 big touchscreen is good to have. unfortunately P900 is not a everyday phone. it is quite heavy and big and relatively fragile. |

Ok, I agreed with you 6600 can do almost every thing P900 does and definatelly they are very different phones, 6600 is small and more easy to use in some situations. But as somebody just said above, it's very hard to write in it. T9 is good but is far away from the handwrite recognition. It's a pain in the ass update my To Do list in the 6600, as well as my schedule and notes. Anyway as you said this thread is about 6600 can do everything P900 does, I think you are right besides the specific softwares that use handwrite recognition (like Orange Scribe) or Drawing (like Jotter).

One thing is for sure. The feel of the P900 is great. No nokia can ever match it.
