Looks good, but why Vodafone branded? Maybe they will release a similar 3G phone, but after a long time.

i think it looks good, the features are good and i'm sure there will be non-vodafone handset at some point?

That's to bad. Only Vodafone and it's a SE. Crap!
Buit hey, the Z1010 is getting a bit old, and if SE does not build a 3G phone on the same platfrom as the V800 then I'll be amazed. Or is this phone built on the same platform as the Lg U8110 (wich is the same as the Z1010 btw)? |

Maybe after 2-3 months. Who knows, maybe soon, maybe later.

In Japan, se only make phones for the network such as au, ntt, and vodafone. Looks like they're starting to do the same thing here.

I strongly belive that there will be a plus (v800i or v810) or the same phone w. upgrades (v900i) just in an other color and slightly altered dessign , but not three or more month ! Not even vodaphone is rich enough to pay SE for an exclusive toprange phone... and what about the rest of the world who dont have voda networks ?! Rva

I think we can get a pattern here.
'V' series will be Vodafone phones only series.

that doesn't seem to work with the F500i though

Well, a 'V' can turn into an 'F' if i have no front teeth.
And it'll sound the same.

As you said it is RUMOURED Z1020....the number is also a RUMOURED. It is the same phone.
From what I see, this 3G phone should have a different model number too when it is on sell for other non Vodafone network. (Just like F500....ends up being K500)
maybe it will be Z800 for "3" and other 3G network....i am looking forward for Malaysia Maxis's 3G.....Ericsson is the main 3G supplier and they promise to ship around a few million of 2.5G and3G phone to Malaysia in the next 3 yrs. |
