Well, by staring at the pic it looks to me that the SE logos and words were placed on top of the original picture.

You can see that the background of the whole picture is clear white and the logo zone is "dirty", due to jpeg compression me thinks...

But whatever brand it is, the phone has a very cool look. [addsig]

that P1000 is just nokia's answer the Pxxx phones, i even think the phone is upside down.

that SE phone, hmm it looks more like its gonna be a phone for japan or china.

well why does the phone seem to have a headset embedded into it or something, or am I seeing it wrong, second if SE were to make a ad for that phone they certainly would use a scene from free willy or something, close but not close enough.

BUT IT WOULD KICK ASS

I don't think that is a fake pic, altho it could well be a japanese only model.

Look at the screen open/ flip process diagram at the buttom, how many people got that kind of time and skill and effort to come up with that well thought out idea just to pull a prank that will last what? a couple of weeks?

If it is a prank then this design deserves to be made into a real model.

If it is real then judging by the size of the hand in the picture it looks to be the size of a brick!

I'm a bit confused (not a particularly new experience).
In some of the pictures of the phone in it's various flipping stages the flip part looks substantially longer than the body but in the last picture and the main pictures above it is the same length as the body. How is this possible?

the flip is sumthin like the new seimens sf65 flip both ways...inside & outside

Do you think the lower row of pictures has had the bottom cropped of it? It would explain my previous thread and also why the phone looks so square the the bottom on these pics compared to the others.

Looking at that P1000 pic, it looks like there is a hinge for a flip at the bottom right of the device, also all those white lines do look very much like a nokia, also those black buttons are blatently a Nokia, i think this is more likely going to be nokia's answer to the motorola MPX300 the one with the side flip that goes both ways. Also the cable plugged in, looks like the new style of nokia charging cable rather than a headphone jack
That first SE pic the one with the whale, that was a proto on SE japan page about 2 years ago, there were also a few others, and since then they have become real phones, but that one is the only pic i've found of that type. And yes this would be amazing if it was the amazing phone that SE have said about for this year. The only problem is that SE is really good and what they do, and it is very very rare for any real images to be leaked of any protos from se (with the exception of the K700/t650 fiasco, but that was a mistake rather than a leak). I'll bet my life that no one will have seen any of the phones that se announce, thats if they even announce any at all.

fingers are call crossed

sry..about the post...i was just looking at the photo and noticed that the so called nokia had a some similar circular parts that looked like the original picture posted in this thread....it was just my idea that the first picture was an original prototype and my picture that i posted might be the real version....such as the original s700 being without the blue lights on the keys and the production model being with them

@vineet_d - Looks like the 1st pic on your post will be the successor of the 'soon-would-be-released' . . . SE S700 mate !

Good for me because I'm going to Japan next year and I will be there for a year or so.
