here you go...

Thanks to Fighter, I just converted my P900 to a P910a. I will be testing everything out tonight, and posting a full review in this same thread later tonight or tomorrow.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up... As I said MONTHS ago, the 128MB MS Duo size limitation is SOFTWARE-based. I am now happily using a 256MB MS Pro Duo card in my P900.

Here are some more nice features that come with the conversion:

-Bluetooth handsfree profile
-HTML email

I will list all of the features added when I do the full review.

Be aware that I am most likely running a beta P910a firmware on the phone. Time will tell if I can upgrade to later revisions using the Online Update service. In addition, I will be testing various bandlocks on the phone to see if the P900's radio is capable of using 850MHz.

It is also my understanding that the latest P910 firmwares enable RSA protection, but that is no longer an issue for experienced "servicemen".

And yes, I will be offering this upgrade service to anyone interested.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, the proof:

And a VIDEO located here ...

ENJOY!

This is certainly very good news. I would hope the firmware upgrade can eventually be done by the average user. I think Sony has some answering to do about the 128mb MS Duo limitation on the P900.

I'm sure will quite adequately ignore the issue

from what I have read though in a couple of white papers, the P910 does not support parallel mode which, by my understanding, means that basically you can access the full capacity of the duo pro but not acheive the full duo pro performance (someone correct me if I am wrong)

Could it not just be a P910 with a P900 flip on it and someone having a laugh?

I wish the information was just made public.
A step by step tutorial on how to do it and the firmware provided on a link for us to download and put into our phones.

It's also clearly a P900 case & not just the flip

@amnesia
i can confirm this is true i will hopefully convert mine later today.
firstly you need a special service kit. if anyone want information i can give it to them, also i will be happy to upgrade anyones phone for free, if they are brave enough to use royal mail to send it to me.

i am not a scammer i just want to help people. of course because of people like myself SE may be forced to bring out their own conversion using the web update.

Yes yes yes!. We need people like you to show SE what the community can do.

I need more details, can you tell me how the flash files get into hands of people?. I mean are they leaked out of SE and then people use special flashing devices to flash their devices. Is it similar to upgrading your BIOS?. I am new to all of this, so just curious.
