Does anyone know how to prevent my sms messages getting deleted after i replace my simcard with another one. Every setting, e-mail, account, don't change but all sms messages are deleted!!!

When after i changed sim and went to sms menu i was shocked coz all messages had gone!!!
I think only way is to store sms in sim memory but it can hold only 10 messages and very slow...

u r right, all messages are temporarily stored in the phone memory. just store msgs in the sim memory for u to see them using other phones....

storing them on the sim causes the phone to be slower when opening the sms inbox

Deleting SMS'es in the phone when changing SIM-card is a privacy issue.
Look at it this way:
Would you want your wife/husband/girfiend/boyfriend/colleague to be able to read your SMS'es if she/he switched SIM in your phone to his/hers?....
