It depends of course on the person. But in some cases the solution of this question can be solved like the following quote:

A Finn and a Swede were arguing which ones mother tongue sounds more
beautiful.
Since they couldn't find any solution they asked help from an english
linguistic, who asked both of them to translate the following poem by Percy Shelley into their own languages.

"Island, island, Grassy island, Grassy island's Bride."

It was the Finn's turn first. He translated:

"Saari, saari, Heinäsaari, Heinäsaaren Morsian."

Then the Swede translated:

"Ö, ö, Hö-ö, Hö-öns Mö."

My favourite is the Telemark dialect of Norwegian. Other cool languages are Welsh and Irish-celtic. [addsig]

Many are tend to believe that the American (english) language is the most commonly used 'lingo' around the globe, But they are mistaken . . . It is surpassed by both the Chinese and Indian (Hindu ) languages ! But I prefer the english one, as it is the most commonly used here in the Discussion Forum

If we're talking about the written language nothing can touch the east Asian languages.

As a first language English is not the most used language, however, it is when one counts everyone who can speak English, whether as a first language or not. Native English speaking countries include the U.K., the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and numerous other nations around the globe. In addition to native speakers there are also large numbers of people capable of speaking English in the Indian Sub-continent and much of Africa and the Far East, where English is sometimes a joint official language alongside native languages.
Spanish and Chinese are probably the next most widely spoken languages.

Im sorry to say that you're all completely wrong.

The most beautiful and sexiest language used has to be English with a Scottish accent.

Last year when ordering something from a Scottish company, i spoke to a Scottish girl on the phone. Whilst serving me, her voice was so soft and beautiful i was almost hypnotised by her.

It was like talking to your mistress, your girlfriend, and your local babe hotline all in one ! I could have talked to her all day. I've never enjoyed a phone call as much as i did that one. It was so sexual !

It just might be English with a strong European or Spanish accent...
