Any reasons why NOT to buy a 6600 instead of a k700? |

I have always bought SE phones, and have been very pleased with them, they have always been one step ahead of other brands.
But now i am considering buying a 6600, because it has symbian and other things, that appear to be as good or better that the k700.
As a plus (on the nokia side) the k700 is not yet out on vodafone live, and im not going to spend 450 euros on a phone...
Any reasons why not to go ahead?
All opinions are welcome!
thanks

Comparing the 6600 with the K700 isn't right imho. Both are entirely different phones. Belonging to dif categories.

Although i am a die hard se fan, i recommend you go for the nokia cause it is a good phone and in a higher category than the k700 although their prices are similar ( prices of the k700 will probably come down after the launch of the s700). But all said and done go for the phone that you like the most.

if u hv not used a Series 60 smartphone before then you should try one. It'll give u a whole new level of experience.
I hv the T68 before my 6600 and won't be going back to SE for a while unless SE come out with a smartphone that is not overbloated and overpriced. |

My wife is from Finnland will not own anything other than a Nokia and subsequently has a 6600. She liked it until she saw how quickly I can do more things, such as sending an SMS, MMS, etc... than on her 6600. She still will not own anything other than a Nokia but admits the K700i is a much faster phone in terms of functionality. However, the two phones are not comparable. You have Series 60 Symbian and a "normal" mobile phone operating system. I am not a Nokia fan but the 6600 is not bad at all. |

Considering the many 'faults' the SE K700/i fone has now, I'll go for the Nokia 6600 mate It has an expandable memory card slot as well Had it not been for those silly bugs, the SE K700/i fone model is the handset to beat at the moment If the Nokia 7610 is available in your choices, then why not consider it mate |

6600 is a good phone but: heavier and bigger than k700, mono sound, no radio

Or no mp3 built in. But u can downlmad these plus shed loads of other apps including opera for internet, zip file-ms word readers, gameboy emulators. The list goes on and some come at a price. If its expandability for storage and apps then go for 6600. Just test it first, as it took me ages 2 get used mine. If u can afford it get 7610 as it has better camera. If only se had a series 60......

i do not own a k700, but i did own a 6600, it's a nice phone but if you own a 7650 or 3650 before, you will be bored, they're the same phones but in different casing, sizes, though some minimal improvements are done...K700 is not a smart phone but it has the killer features you need to kick off 6600...it has a in-built photo light if you wanna take pics at dark...the themes are fun to look at because it is not stationary, i mean while on standby, there are themes which show moving bubbles or flashing lightning...so it's really cool..though it does not have an expandable memory, 41mb is enough for a phone...video recording for k7 is up to 45mins...i once dropped my 6600 and you know what?, it does not boot anymore, it's very sensitive...i sold it, and planning to buy a k700i...

If you already have a PDA,you just need a k700i.
As a phone like 6600,its pda function is not good enough. |
