@ProficienT

Dude, R2E011 has problems. Have you not read the posts concerning this? Are you willing to take the chance to break more you fix? While I can understand wanting to get the most from your phone but I am not willing to have to go back to have it upgraded once again. With this being said, if you do have yours upgraded to R2E011 and you have problems, 1. Told you so. 2. Told you so again. 3. To avoid points 1 and 2 it would be best to keep your misfortunes secret. Good luck.

It looks like SE has really made abit of a cock up with the K700, it released it with many bugs, then it releases a new firmware which cases even more problems. The K700 is a fantasic phone, such a shame that it has so many bugs!

I kept geting the white flashing screen when pressing the + or - button to see the phone status, then a master reset of settings caused it to flash when exiting from submenus with the backup key. I the did two master resets in succesion, and now so far i get no white screen with whatever i do. Never had any probs with panoramic though.

I’m really confused now, do I update to R2E011 or not?
My K700 works fine but there is some minor problems that I like to see it fixed with the new software.

I would not upgrade the phone. While R2E011 my fix things, SE says that it is not ready. I am in Kuwait and it is not possible to get a service center to do the upgrade to R2E011 anymore because of the prolems that this upgrade causes.

In the end, the choice is yours. If want to get it upgraded, by all means get it upgrade.

I haven't got the phone yet but i am doing some research on it (like rite now) and it seems that it has a lot of bugs. Should i wait for a newer version or should i just get it now and get the new software when it comes out.

Does it really have that many bugs?

right now there r only people who praise it and then people who condemn its bugs

K700i with R2A and no real problems,just the batterie life(but it's increasing charge after charge!) and a white screen for a couple of seconds in intensive light camera mode and a uncompatible game
Will upgrade to R3A the next FW that's coming right after R2E because it will be the REAL upgrade,just wait 10 to 15 days

I too love the phone and have not had the major problems that many here are experiencing. I realize that the K700i is a phone first, camera, media player second, third, etc... The only problem I have is with the BT, but SE also knows that this is a problem and supposedly a fix is in the works. Now if I can just get Apple to fix their iSync.

Cheers,

Don
