Problem with GPRS and P900 |

Hello :=)
I have just bought Globetrotter to my P900. In this program I can update weather forecasts. When i trying to update weather data nothing happen. It says "Updating weather forecasts...." but after a while the message disappear. I have spoken with neohand support, and they say that the GPRS setup at my mobil is wrong. I have standard setup for TeleNor Mobil (Norwegian company). I have no problem with surfing on internett. I have also tried another similar programs, and got the same result. Anybody that knows what´s wrong with my GPRS connection? |

You might be using WAP GPRS, while the program might need non-WAP GPRS.
Opera and E-Mail usually use non-WAP GPRS, if you have never used these, you might need to setup your phone for "Internett". This can be done automatically from Telenor Mobil's home page.

This really annoys me, networks should use one APN, & O2 GPRS makes me mad chargin for a restricted service only allowin http traffic... |
