I still don't understand the logic behind the sms ringtones and SE!!
why since the t68 till k700i we still can't add our own ringtone for sms?

Pretty crap strategy... Gonna send them a gh337 to show a real, useable and effective alert.

Maybe marketing so that people will hear the tone then think, what phone is that?

And it is another reason to make you spend more cash buying a Pxxx

Dude... I've tried explainin this before to Vlamm... She just thought i was odd...
Set a decent tune as a msg tone (only works on P900 i guess) Something that really, really makes ya feel good, makes ya wanna jump up and dance.... or what ever it is you do....
I've got Obie Trice - Got Some Teeth as mine... Now it's the full mp3 track so if i don't touch my phone it'll play all the way through when i get a msg! Now the thing is that most of the time, you don't know when ya gonna get a msg, right? So you could be at the lowest point of your day and someone txt you!? Instantly it'll lift you!
My mates and I are all Viva La Bam freaks! Now if you've seen the family reunion episode you'll understand the connection with Got some teeth. It's like they all go a little mad when it starts to play! Well it's become a kinda automatic reaction now with my mates.... As soon as i get a msg everyone jumps up and starts to dance about in the style of compton Terry! No matter where we are! It put a smile on the face of anyone near by and we're all enjoyin ourselves! And all because i had an mp3 msg tone!
Now if that ain't a good enough reason then what is...

Sounds nice, but my problem is, as for some others too, that if the fone is in my pocket, outdoor its just no reason to hear it. My oldies are recognizable at an sms even between 3 floors.

No fw would solve this problem. Since the t68i i suffer with this alert problem, if the opinion of the customers would bf important for se, they had made already a change in the fw for it.
