With the new Ipaq6300 coming out this month. SE would have to answer with the Pxxxx to keep up with that mean machine.

But the iPaq is a dedicated PDA, the P series of phones have never had the same specs or expandability that a proper PDA offers..

I think the biggest rival to the P1000 would be the XDA3, or XDA4 as they will probably offer much more than the 6300 series can.

Look at it though, that iPaq is HUGE !

The only people who would buy it over a XDA3/4 or the P1000 would be the people who wont be carrying it around in their pocket, but in a briefcase..

..and how many P900 owners on this forum use a briefcase ? I'd bet only a fraction of the whole P900 owners.

3G yes no doubt.

P1000 will be super, there's only one thing that bugs me about it. its the ugly design of the prototype that i saw

do you have any info on the radio used?
quadband GSM? (850/900/1800/1900)

BART

I have been to your site many times, but I just need this clarification. You metioned there about the new Pxxx design and you putted that info there for a while now. That makes me cofused though on whether the Pxxx you were pertaining to is the P910 now because you mentioned about same design only on silver color or you are pertaining to successor of P910.

Thanks

any news on the P1000? In my opinion, the P910 is just an upgrade of the P900. we should expect more on the upcoming P1000 or else, is following the footsteps of Nokia, putting a little feature but different model name.
