On the serious note, couldnt youy rip apart a CAR-100 and out a boat body on it etc?

Basically, I see no problem about it. powered wheels will be used for sailing with prop and steering for steering - could be done by few pieces of plastic, flexible material and rods... No problem for plastic kits modeller.

A straight forward conversion wouldnt make a boat, you would need to totally re model it and fiddle with the software, however a padel boat is much more realistic, reverse the motor and bring the turning gear to the rear, cut the top off, paint it red and put a barbie doll on top, instant padel boat. Or you could put a steam boat shell on it and have steam coming out of the funnel. Nice

I think that classic configuration with helm and screw would be as a easy as that - no problem - does anybody have pics of his/her CAR? from all sides - to make the construction clear? THX...

i have in mind to modify my car 100 like this: tuning  ! i`ll put a bigger battery, better engine(very easy to replace), new bigger wheels and tires:). Only the bt unit will remain. The problem is with stearing, is based on electromagnetic fields. But i`ll find a way to control my car 1000

i think its quit posible to build such a boat. like said here before, the steering of the weels could be reconnected to steer the boat. all it takes is a guy with some time. don't make it 2 big, about the same size.
hmm would be cool to see this from SE. a boat-100 a hovercraft-100.
a plain would be nice but would demand to much power.
oh, but since the boat-100 would be small and leight. a small wave could knock it over :s = bad idea (for now)

bart - plain wouldn't be possible - range problem. Boat doesn't have to be very light. Again, range would be problem, youcan build yacht for example. Range range range. 100m :bt: is obligatory!

Or if you're a technical type, then you can insert a 100m  chip and maybe change the fw a bit to handle it.

this is only fantasy.Reach of is very short.Only a car can be reality.100 m for boat and plane is not enough .
