What are the lack points and the bugs that you found in the K700?

For me:
- No zoom for the captured images.
- The phone lock is always “on” even if it’s on “Automatic”, so you have to enter the lock code each time you power on the phone.

As far as loosing contacts is concerned, its a normal firmware issue. get ur firmware upgraded and i think ur problem will be solved.

I'm using the fw R2A041 and I've never lost any contacts before.

I've never had to enter the a lock code so obviously it can be disabled

You're right, it can be disabled. The idea behind "Automatic" is that the lock should turn on for a changed SIM. It does that, and everytime you turn on your phone.

This is a bug.

Sure it’s a bug. Another thing with the K700i is the light stay on during a call and sure it's draining the battery, and I don't know if the new fw will solve this problem also.

I don't like how the the K700 can't zoom taken pics, i could do it on my P800, and i also dislike how you can't view captured pics full screen! But then it is a mobile phone, not a digital camera.

I haven't seen this bug reported:

Setting for automatic key-lock is turned on.

After replying to an incoming SMS, the key-lock never comes back on.

I didn't meant that it back to "On, but when power on the phone it always ask for the phone Lock code, with the same SIM card and the phone lock mode is "Automatic".

@amalakani: I'm not sure I understood your last post, but if it was a reply to my latest post, I think I should clarify:

In my first post, I confirmed the SIM phone-lock bug that you reported.

In my latest post, I reported a different bug: Keyboard lock does not turn on after replying to an SMS.

@HjJ; Thanks for the Clarify.

I've found the same problem on my K700, the key lock never back "on" after replying to an SMS.

@ sonysandy

it is quite annoying that you can't zoom in, but you can view pics full screen:

1. take a pic in the 'digital camera' way i.e. holding it sideways.
2. once you have taken the pic click on 'rotate'
3. press the back key, then go into my pictures.
4. select camera pictures
5. press 'more' and then 'slide show'
6. hey presto! you can view the pics full screen!

I'll try that one as soon as I get my K700i back from upgrading. I left it into the servicepoint yesterday, and if you want the upgrade without cost, it takes 3 working days, if you want your phone back in just a few hours, they take SEK 150 (€ 16). I already miss the phone, so I regret not paying the SEK 150.

How do you get the full screen working? I tried it with the above instruction, and nothing happened.
