what operating system are you using? have you checked the device manager so that the DSS-25 is properly installed?

Use the proper drivers, which can be downloaded from the K700 update service page of the SE website.

in my experience its usually down to com port and usb settings. unfortuately I have only used the T610/T630/Z600/K700 on a DSS sync station while already having the P900 sync suite installed as well as the appropriate one for the phone in question. but in that circumstance it was just a matter of disabling the USB port in phone connection link in the system tray, noting the com port that the usb was using and enabling that com port in mobile phone manager. maybe something in that might help you

I'd be interrested in if I can use my P800 in my DSS-20 after I installed the drivers for the K700. If not then I will have to port the SE drivers to linux kernel 2.4.26 and that sounds like a great hazzle to me. =)

Just managed to get my DSS-25 up and running. No problems at all except for the transfer speed...yawnnnnnnnnn God it is slow even though I increased the baud rate... I wonder whats going on there. |

Whe you upgrade your phone, you use the upgrades provided on the website, but if you have a 'branded' phone (I have the best of the bad bunch, O2) how do you then get the updates?
which leads me to think... why do they brand them? you've already bought it from them, they don't need to remind you that you are their customer!

They brand it cos every customer is like a walking talking advertising board. :-)
