No, it is not available online. There are however some indications (SE mail-replies) which points at it will be available sometime in the "near" future.
Until then you'll have to go to the SESS for upgrade and service,
have a nice day!

Help,
I think I messed up. I have a Dutch Vodafone K700i with all the Voda restrictions, problems and crap. Canīt dump it so need help. Allas the SE update service is not online so canīt try a firmware update. Would this work anyway? Want my MP3 ringtones back.....
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get rid of this limiting and annoying branding. I travel quite a lot so maybe someone can help me in say Hong Kong??
Thanx

Dutchcap....Flashing the firmware won't remove the Vodafone branding.
You will need to wait for some kind of Flasher for the K700i. (i'm assuming there is nothing available as yet)
This happened to me on my T610 when i bought a Vodafone version. I had to flash 2 different files into the phone.
One file is called a "GDFS" and the other is called "AVR". These are the files that have all the customisations. |

Whilst it is theoretically possible to delete the customisation files from the firmware, I don't think your SE Service Centre will do it for you. My local SE Service Centre won't do it anyway - I asked last weekend as one of my friends has a Vodaphone branded model.
Basically all they do at the Service Centre it attach the phone to a cradle and then run some software that interrogates the firmware on your phone and interrogates the region specific SE server (EMMA here in the UK & Europe) to see what updates are available for your firmware. They then just press a button that flashes the phone with the latest firmware.
I believe the customisation files are separate to the firmware - a bit like how Internet Explorer's customisation works. The phone will boot up using the main firmware and then look to see if there are any customisation files on the phone and apply these over the defaults in the standard firmware. In order to remove the customisation you would need to remove these files. |

welcome to Esato
that is the correct url but if you read back over the last few pages you can see that it simply hasn't been available for a few weeks now. Indeed it was only ever available for a few days. Same with the Z1010 update site.
It will most likely be back one day
