Seriously, i can't believe we're having this conversation. How the hell is a t6** better. With taste like that you might as well buy a blokia 6230

i can kind of understand were he is coming from if he was expecting a huge step forward
the k700 is more evolution than revolution but most mobile are like this
ie t610 had 2mb this has 40mb better cam etc
its very similar but better. all makers of phones do this the only execption was the p series which was very different
i have no problem with the same was true of the t68i-t610 a nice evolution and the k700 is the same
i think its a lot better than the t610 but as i said i can see were he is coming from but dont fully agree |

I guess I can't really comment until I get my grubby mitts on a K700!
From what I've seen - I want one! The only problem is, I have a P800 and am a bit spoilt by what it can do - browse many 'proper' websites (I don't think the K700 can do this - can it?), touchscreen, etc etc. Mind you, cant afford one anyway so that's academic
I also think that the T610 looks better - a nice, simple design which still looks good today - it's only that there's lots of them around so it doesn't look 'fresh'. A bit like the Ford Focus car - nice design - but every other person's got one (here in UK anyway!), the 'commonality' tends to take something away from it.
Though of course we'd all rather see phones more as well rather than them being a rarity!

I agree videos do play smoother on the K700 than P900 & miles better than P800 but that I think is mainly due to it being on a smaller screen.

Well i've just decided to trade from my P800 to a K700. After 14 months of P800 use, i've decided i need a smaller phone. I'll whap a Pay n go sim in the P800 and use it for email , but the K700 for what it is, seems to be one of the best wee phones on the market.
I've had a good play with both the T610 and T630, the 610 is good, the 630 an improvement, but the K700 takes the best bits of the 630 (looks) and gives all the features you expect on a Pockia but much better done! |

Have you actually held & tried one? Do it, I can't see how anyone could prefer the T610!

Just because he prefers T610 it doesnt mean he is mad.
You may not go for a T610 but this is your opinion. Oh, and K700 is not better then T610. Its about personal preferences and tastes. K700 may have more features but thats a completely different thing.
No one phone is better then another. It all about which phone is good for you. What you prefer may not be the same as others.

@ dhallug
Thanks for the lecture
It was meant in a jesting way actually not an offensive way!
I do think though that the K700s features can enable it to be classed as 'better' as per the dictionary definition of the word, betterment, improved, which the K700 definately is over the T610.
I realise personal preferences do not always mirror what is 'better' and I accept people prefer different things but that doesn't change the fact that K700 is better than T610.
Oh and I did go for the T610 when it was new, great phone just a little dated now.

A fone is never old or dated. Can make a call on it? If yes, its still useable.

Well once again that is down to preference. If u just want 'a phone' then yes but if u prefer to have a fresh & exclusive looking phone then it can quickly become dated.
Also many people demand much more than the ability to make calls from a 'phone', I know I do!
My old 3210 could still make a call but I wouldn't be seen dead with one now!
