Is there any way i can use my T610 as a bluetooth GPRS modem with my with my iPaq h1940. I am able to perform simple bluetooth ob-ex, but am not able to figure out how to use the bluetooth to use my t610 as a modem.

thanks in advance.

ps. I tried using the search function to find a relevent thread, but i could'nt find any thread which explained this in too much detail. If any one can find such a thread please direct me accordingly. Thanks Again.

You do not need any additional software on the ipaq to use the phone as a gprs modem!

I don't actually have an ipaq (Fujitsu Loox owner!) but the principle is the same.

There should be a bluetooth manager on the ipaq? Just go into that, select the phone (I assume you have paired it?). One of the services offered should be "internet".

If you select that - it should ask you what number to dial.

In general the number looks like *99***x# where x is the CID number of the data comms profile you want to use. You can check the number on the phone (COnnectivity/Data comm/DAta accounts) just select the account you want to use and it will tell you the CID.

THat should be it!!

PS - If your ipaq runs wm2003 then this might be useful http://www.hp.se/includes/library/19030.pdf
