K700 camera click sound |

Hi all,
I just got the new K700 and I must say I really love it.
They finally added address fields to the contact list
But I have one question: How do I make the camera click sound go away. On the T610 it disappeared along with all sounds when I hold down the C key (turn on silent).
But on the K700 it still makes a loud click sound even when silent is on!
Oh I have some more questions: Is it possible to create a shortcut to my WAP bookmarks? And how do I make a shortcut to 'Send/receive emails' ?
Thanks
Jkay

Apparently the only way to disable the camera sound is to choose the "Meeting" profile, whereby all sounds are disabled. If this is incorrect, someone will be along shortly to let us know |

well for about the 5th time this week, yes the meeting profile will quiet the camera noise but its only because the ringtone volume in the meeting profile is set to zero.
So, if any profile if your reduce the ringtone volume yuo will reduce the camera noise and if you set the rintone volume to zero you will get no camera niose.

Can you time the profiles like the nokias?

so SE still allow the camera click sound to be off huh???
I thought all major manufacturer have decided to make the sound impossible to be muted thanks to some freak who misuse the camera in subway and shopping mall. |

I kinda like the fact that you don't have to have the clicking sound, but can understand the security reasons behind keeping it there permanantly! |

...and you have checked the ringtone volume on the profile that you take the pic with?
certainly I use my phones on silent all the time and still get camera sound on K700 unless I change profile or reduce ringtone volume

I have noticed that some firmware are different, as mine has EU_2 at the end of Customization and others have EU_4!
eg.
I found this firware someone had on esato
Customization

i wonder if a firmware update could give the K700 the possibility to turn off the sound through a menu in the camera? Just like on my sister's cheap Nokia 3200. I think it is better that way. What's the point of putting on meeting all the time. Come on, that is tedious.
Well, let's hope they fix it soon...
