Same here, the phone indicates battery in almost dead after about 16 hours? Could just be the meter bug tho and be fixed in later firmware? Hope so

Think the battery needs to be in operation for about 2 weeks for it to work good (well thats what i herd from somewhere!)

Yes, mine too. I just got my K700 for 2 days, and so far very happy with everything, except I just realized my battery is below 1/2 charge within 12 hrs and I didn't use it much to talk. What's going on? Anyone know where or when SE will release the new firmware to fix this?
Thanks

the battery performance will be better after several charges. my t630 is every day on the charger, but i use it pretty much the gprs ( ca 3 hours usually, calls and play with it ). think its the same at the k7 aswell, not to forget u have mp3 too. if i didnt even touch my t610 it last 5 days long. dont forget the battery performance depends on the reception, bt, irda etc use aswell.

its a small bug that suddenly appeared. SE is working on it and a new firmwear will be ready soon, which will also solve some other bugs.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

So when can we expect a firmware upgrade to be available for the K700i?

Try this....

- Run the battery down.
- Turn the backlight to automatic (not power save) so that the light goes off when charging.
- Switch the phone off.
- Charge it for 10+ hours overnight

I did this and it instantly more than doubked the battery life I was getting.
