Hi.

I have noticed a SIM-card problem with my K700i.
I got my old SIM-card that works perfect. And two days ago I got another SIM-card (Telia Refill - Sweden).

I opended k700 and changed sim-card (between my old and the new) as follows:

Monday
old -> new
new -> old

Tuesday
old -> new
new -> old

Wednesday (today)
old -> new (AND NOW IT DIDN'T WORK)

The K700i freeze after a while, everytime I put the new sim-card in the phone. Other sim-cards work perfect, and the new sim-card that freezes my k700 works in other phones.

When the K700 freeze i have to take the battery out to reset the phone. On/Off button do not work at all.

Anyone with same problem?

are both ya SIM having the same bit? please check with ya ISP.

everytime a new SIM card placed into ya K700i. the phone will capture all the information that K700i needed. So it takes a longer time when u inserted a different SIM card inside. i encounter 2 minute screen freeze after firmware upgrade. and 1 min freeze after unproper shut down of JAVA application.

Please do not take the SIM card in and out from ya phone so often. if u have to change it everyday. try to get SIMMax and u can basically copy 12 SIM card info into 1.

I get i total freeze, that never stops. I have to take out my battery.
One of my SIM is old, and then the new is a 32k SIM.

Did u get a firmware update on K700i? Is there a firmware update to get?

SIMMax, never heard of it. Where can I find such SIM?

I just experienced this certain problem when I switched between 2 sim cards. One was working fine and the other just kept freezing. I had to "reset all" to get it to work again. I lost all of my files and some files (themes & sounds) that came with phone...

Has anyone found an answer to this problem with the K700i ???
I have had trouble with changing my SIM cards now too..

I have 4 SIM cards at the moment due to working in the UK for a few months. 2 of these cards now freeze the phone after about 20 secs???

The other 2 SIMS, 1 irish and 1 english both work fine???
The two that are working are also the newest 2 SIMS I have....

Can this problem be solved without deleting my files on the phone?

thanks
