Not a lot you can do, O2's free GPRS offer ends as of today I am afraid. You will now have to pay for GPRS at a rate of £2.35 per MB. Having said that, that makes O2 the cheapest for Pay and Go GPRS, as both Vodafone and Orange charge £4 per MB. Get a contract though, its cheaper still.

I'm using O2 Online with my P900 & I've not been charged yet. Used over 400kb so far.
Is this just the 1MB free or I have read that using Proxy Address 193.113.200.195 and Port 8080 (which I am) is still free!
I do get the balance messages though.

O2 offer the best gprs charges around.
I left t-mobile because they were charging 0.75p per kb. Do the math and it's £7.50 per mb, so 02's rates are very good. |

@redbull
if you want to get bolt-ons you will just have to switch to the new o2Online tariffs either Original OR Talkalot. to do it just give them a phone call or email them.

can their IP (193.113.200.195) still be used with other SP? |

Orange uk doesn`t have anymore the wap unlimited(gprs) for 4 pounds/month? With that you can connect to any html page with internal browser or opera( depends of firmware version).
Long live Orange Romania... The best!

I am on a Vodafone contract p900 and I get charged 0.002p per kb which is £2.04 (or £2.05 rounded) per mb, I guess this is even better than Orange |

Here in Canada, on Fido, its around $15 per 500K.... which is around 6 pounds...
0.3 cents per Kbyte for "GPRS pay as you go".
Your rates sound pretty good...

You can also ring 2435 and select option 7
By following these options you can buy 5 MB extra GPRS on top of the 1MB you get free for £4, this is a bolton to which you have to make sure you haveenough money on your phone on your aniversary date
