It is possible to change the colour of the keypad lights on the t610, and it involves the vital ingredient of......THE PLASTIC BAG!

There is a simple way to change the color of your keypad lights without having the hassle of soldering or the risk of ruining your phone. All you have to do is cut out a suitable size square of coloured plastic (use any shopping bag and any colour) and place it underneath the keypad, making sure to cover the LED lights.

Directions on dismantling your phone can be found here>>>http://www.uselessinfo.pwp.blueyond...smantlet610.htm<<< After you replace the front an turn your T610 back on, the keypad lights will now glow the same color as the tissue paper. And the good thing is tht its not noticable at all. Try it an tell me what you think.

Great idea...I wish I could've thought of that sooner. Anyway, I don't think the paper/plastic would burn/melt...But I personally think that colored cellophane would work well.

yeah, it would be hard to get the right transparency level, but the one in the picture seems to look really good

Have you removed the 4 screws? f you have just get a credit card, or something like that, insert it between the middle part and front and just prise it open. If you havent then go onto the pc and then have a look at http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=53680#post697858 and there are pics there.
