its wave messaging according to nokia
and it very hard for it to work. you need a dark room, good eyes, and you've go to practice alot to hold the phone stable and to have the right speed.
in my eyes this is just rubish.
but its good to see nokia developing new stuff, but sadly its entertainment and i want technology

I quite like the Nokia 3220 (the first to feature this new innovative feature Wave Messaging). I think the mobile overall will be a big success because of the funky flashing lights.
I'd say the 3220 is a mixture between the Nokia 3200 and Nokia 3100.

I had a frisbee that has the same idea. You program it to say something, and when you hurl it at someone they struggle to read what it says and then hits them in the face.
Tis a nice idea, and is really cool for all of 2 hours until you get bored of it.

 sounds useless. I had a yoyo year ago that did that. I wouldn want to shake my phone like a lunatic anyway. Im looking foreward to see how the phone looks because i wouldn feel comfortable using a phone that looks like a christmas tree( thats what i imagine one will look like) :-)

Well, you don't really have to shake it, you just wave it back and forth...
The ONE thing they don't mention is that the wave thingy is a special express on cover, costing around 50 buckaroos... |

Maybe you can hurl the phone and wait to see if it hits the guy!
