Unlock Your T-610 in Two Days! |

I'm going over seas this summer, so I thought I'll call Tmobile customer service and tell them that I'm traveling and ask them for my unlocking code and they gave it to me. I called two days ago, they told me that its gonna be ready in two days; today I called again and they gave me the unlocking code with the instruction. Nice, huh? |

You could take it to your local market or independent phone dealer, they should be able to do it - I've just unlocked on for use on all networks for £10 (about $15 I think).

That's why I like T-Mobile (USA). As long as you're on contract, they'll unlock your phone within a month or so of starting service. In an emergency travel situation, they'll unlock it within 72 hours. On the other hand, AT&T won't do it at all. Hell AT&T won't even sell you a sim card without a phone. P***ks.
@folling182: Why would he be lying? What does T-Mobile USA have to do with Voda UK?

Okay, I know I'm a n00b, and this is my first post, but... You're wrong. You're trying so hard to make mers look dumb that you're making yourself look like an idiot. He said that in an emergency travel situation T-Mobile will unlock a customer's phone within 72 hours of signing a contract, not that it takes 72 hours to unlock it. |

oh...wait...did i hear something...?
@greenduck: To be quite honest i cant remember mentioning ur name so why dont u just butt the fcuk out off this conversation!!
I cant stand smart ass americans!! (i dont mean all americans, just the ones who as stupid as there president...like the 2 members envolved right now).
PS. Before trying to defend someone read CAREFULLY what they have wrote, because u now look even stupider than mers...
he said: if u are on contract, and u are in an emergency travel situacion, they will unlock ur phone in 72 hours!! nothing to do with a unlocking contract or whatever u are trying to say!

Okay, you're right; Americans are stupid. Never-the-less, you're still wrong, and I'll just take the fact that you edited out your previous post as gratification that you know you were wrong. You said something about me mentioning an unlocking contract... I never said anything of that sort. I said "T-Mobile will unlock a customer's phone within 72 hours of signing a contract" C'mon, this is a msg board about cell phones; everyone here should know that the phrases "signing a contract" and "starting service" are virtually interchangeable.
Like we've both agreed, Americans are dumb, but I'm not dumb enough to waste any more time on this childish arguement. So, good day. |

Ahhh c'mon, you both peace out once and for all.
Well, now that we're talking about unlocking, if I buy a pay-as-you-go phone and unlock it by my own to use it in another country or whatever, will I lose my 1 year warranty period of the brand I'm using....for example SE?

Yes you will lose your warranty the moment anyone else besides the phone's provider interfere with its sw or hw.
@mods !
Is this a "hate americans" thread and use f words at no risk? Could you please do your job and provide the same clean environment for all nationals?
