looks modern but a bit plain, i like the design of the older look with phones in the background.

Theres this gradient look that websites have these days. Probably helped by the phpbb2 themes... i really dont think its upto much.

I have a lot of things going on almost all the time.  I'm currently writing on a K700 preview. The forum buddy list plus several other tasks are waiting. Luckily I have such hard-working moderators helping me out with the most dynamic part of the site; the forum.

the banner itself was intentionally made to be very simply, so that a light gradient of the phones could be included or anything else for that matter.
The image is only 7 kb and that is at max res.
Reducing it to Medium (which doesn't show any difference) brings it down to 2 kb. The current banner is 5kb.
Of course a redesign is never a priority when it comes to a quality site, that's why I created it without anyone asking me to.
I hope that answered most of the questions.
