I haven't used it for a long time (and T630 no longer has it) but as I recall, its just a souped up text messaging facility where you give yourself a nickname which is prefixed to each message and the conversation is kept on one screen which you can scroll up and down to review, rather than individual messages as normal SMS works. But it all works via standard SMS messages
