a few questions please

For this service do you have to top up every month i mean if i forget or top up one and a half months will i loose my allowance for ever?

can i use GPRS instead of WAP?

and can you browse real internet or just O2 wap service? [addsig]

you have to top-up £10 once a month. If you don't top up you will lose free wap and texts but you will get them back 3 days after you top up your mobile.

You can use GPRS instead and at the moment it is free, but might not be for much longer.

Depending on what phone you have you can browse the internet. Otherwise you can access all wap sites, not just the O2 sites.

If you are using a lot of SMS/MMS and data then o2 is pretty good from the looks of their deals (if you are willing to pay at least £10 per month).

Otherwise, the normal criteria is to buy PAYG from the same operator that most of you friends use to make mobile to mobile calls cheaper. Although 3 mobile have a good deal if you are willing to pay for a monthly top-up, but if you do this you may as well sign-up for a 1-year contract and bonus on the subsidised handset.
