Hey guys,
007's new handset?? What do you guys think it will be, C905 maybe? After all, it will be released in Q4 of the year, as will the film...

Yeah I think it will be a C905 too. Its definitely got the tech, and the looks.
I wonder if they'd do a special edition and if they do, what colour it would be... There's already black silver and bronze C905s.

The features in the on-screen phones are seldom available in reality: Bond' s K800 featured some pretty nifty GPS software and 3D wireframe renditions of buildings - don't know of any downloadable Java Apps that do that for the K790/K800... C905 is an option for Bond, as is Xperia X1, W980 and G900 too IMO. I guess it depends on which market Sony will target in the Bond movie - US or Europe/Asia?

The last Bond film (casino royale) showcased and emphasized k800, the first cyber shot phone. Imo, since is regaining the cyber shot glory this year, they may use c905. That will give the consumers two name recalls for c905: James Bond and Cyber shot, two well known names.
X1 can also be another phone that can make use of the Bond film for promotion. Xperia is the first WM device and as as such must be hyped and advertised well.. (that will be the edge/advantage of x1 over the HTC touch flo and raphael.. Being immortalized in a Bond movie is a big promotional opportunity)
Here is hoping that the water/dust resistance of c702 be shown also in the upcoming Bond film. Making a call using c702 while running in the rain will be a nice scene.

k800 casino royale james bond phone has dimensions of 105 x 47 x 22 mm while c905 measures by 104 x 49 x 18-19.5 mm. so its still just about the same size. though c905 is a bit heavier..

Will Smith uses a W300i in Hancock.
I would love to see the C905 in QoS, but is that phone too new? After all, they were probably done filming before the phone was announced. Unless they used a proto unit. |

I was referring to the guy talking about the x1 being bond's next phone. The c905 would work well i think. |

@laurenke
True, I'd be interested to see just what Sony Pictures do, to tie in The Sony Ericsson brand this time (it's always nice to see Sony Product placement lol)!
The C905 may be too new, I agree - so possibly the X1?
Sony Alpha.
