Have a suggestion, namely, we should never ever blame a nokia or any other brand here on esato. Lets show a good and consructive behavour for other public forums, that /// and se fans are gentlemans, so instead of blaming we force ourself and others buy and use our favourite fones. On this way we can show the world the real power of esato, we protect our brand and keep to it as respectfull users.

for once, I agree. Although we are mostly fans here which is why we visit, I am totally fed up with the juvenile Nokia bashing that goes on here at the slightest mention of the name. alot of the time I get the feeling its just to be "one of the gang" or something but I am sure many of us have had Nokias in the past and thought they were great, and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Nokia or other brand in the future.
I for one absolutely loved my first Nokia, the 2110, as it was my first digital phone and had a large display etc, and when it came to the 8210 (and 8250), well they were fantastic for their time.
The fact that phones today attract my attention does not mean that I dismiss the idea of getting another brand in the future.
so in my opinion, well said boba

yeah i too agree in my opinion nokia isn't a bad company in fact i think it's one of the best companies on the world, if you like se better than why aren't you happy and leave others to enjoy other things, not all people have the same taste....
anyway i agree with you boba |

yeah i also used to like nokia had a 3310 and it was great for snake, and a good phone at time. The had a 7110, was a laugh just for the shooting bit, then i got a 3510 had it for about a month and realised that i could sell it and only need a couple more quid to get a second hand t68i. I have used a couple of colour nokia's since then, but i have to say i much prefer the menu look to SE's and the phones as a whole.
I know i will be saying with SE for a bit longer (k700, then what ever comes after that) But maybe in the future, i will get a diff brand, but only if SE go crazy and start making kack phones.

i have been an /// SE fan from the day i bought my frist phone. i've tried alot of phones before i bought mine first. but the T28 was just beter then the rest in my opinion. from that day i suggest people to buy a phone from that brand (mostly the good ones, every brand has got a bad one) and i still do that. i love the /// SE phones and there still the best. i have tried alot of othere phones, tested them in stores, used them for a few days and i still remain sure that SE is the best. but as i work in a phone shop i know that for some people a phone from another brand is better. i even sometimes don't suggest a SE phone like the T200 that was a horrible phone.
i'm sure most of us are gentelman. we see alot of nokia fans posting agressively (surtenly in the last few weeks). most of them are just going along with the group. without knowing anything about phones or having and objective mind. i know myself that i don't like those people and that i would do everything to give them a lesson. yesterday i posted in a thread a perfect plan how to somehow drop the moral for the nokia fans but somebody deleted it (still not happy about that).
the main idea is still the give the best advice and suggest the best phone for them. but alot of people that don't search the net just go out and buy a phone from a brand without having any idea what they buy. some do a quick post in the forums and mostly some nokia fans reply as first resulting that the person buy's a nokia. there are more nokia fans then from anyother brand which is normal since nokia is the marketleader. but there suggestions and way of giving good advise is sometimes very wrong. some even hold back info or give more specs then the phone has. And whats the point of that? if you want to promote something you shouldn't lie. as a sales person you're sometimes expected to do that. but I and normally a few other people arround the world don't care about that, and there just fair and tell the truth.
so i say lets be gentleman and if i CAN i will give my plan how we can teach those crazy nokia (and other phone brands) a lesson in a normal way.

im sorry, but is this just a thread where people can now act all innocent and claim that they have "never had a thing against nokia"
and deny claims that they've bashed nokia in the past?

lol, i am not denying 'bashing' nokia, i even made an anti-nokia theme, just saying i have used more nokias than SE and i prefer SE, but if Nokia do make a great phone and SE start to make bad phones (can't see this happening) i would probably swap brands, or buy something completly different.

I blamed Nokia too, but mostly times I give facts why Nokia isn't so good, what does it luck and why . Sometimes it's a bit hard to defend from someone who owns a worse phone and they tell you what a shit phone you have. But we are gentlemans and we will not do that anymore, right?
