I suffer from a severe case of smelly feet.
I've tried all the usual methods of overcoming this;
washing them, spraying body spray on them, and even using odour eaters on them. However this does nothing, and the ssmell of my feet overpowers everything.
What should i do?

You need to wear more breathable footwear. The problem of smelly feet is caused by bacteria thriving in the warm moist environment. Looser footwear, or a more breathable fabric will inhibit the growth of this bacteria. Also a change in diet may help reduce the odours expelled in your sweat.

even when i dont wear shoes, if ive been sitting around at home all day. They still smell.... 
any suggestions on the diet change?

I suggest you need to exfoliate a layer or two of skin from your feet. Wash them twice a day with antibacterial soap and also rub them with a pumice stone. Wear shoes/socks as little as possible. Continue this for a fortnight and your smelly feet problem will be gone. It will also help to throw your shoes in the washing machine.
