Hi, can anyone tell me if its possible to use my mobile as a dial up conection on my laptop instead of conecting to land line.

0ne thing to remember is when you want to use your phone as a modem you must untick the USB box in your connection manager, the only time you tick it is when you are doing backup & synchronising.

Hmmm I am pretty sure that you CAN use a cable to use the phone as a modem?
