ive just send an email with pop3 on my p900 it had a 2mb attatchment and it took 45 minutes! I was using o2 gprs and was sending to mymail.Ro does it usualy take so long to send?

It depends by:
the operator
how many are connected to the same cell using gprs
how is the signal strenght

Remember that sending isn't as receiving.
Operator (the best operator) let you to use 4+1 socket
4 to receive
1 to send

For my experience, 1 Mb file takes about 10min to upload. I'm using SUNDAY in Hong Kong.

BTW POP3 is used to receive email, you use SMTP to send (same if you use either POP3 or IMAP4)

so in effect you're sending at abt 1k a sec... which means that 1mb should take abt 16 minutes, when you've got perfect recep. When that's not the case, it could quite easily take forever

Also it migh depend from POP server. If this is a free chip server your speed will be slow
