In the CeBIT 2004 held in Germany, LG shows the new 3G phone U8100 for European again. NEC has used the ˇ§black horseˇ¨ to describe their position in Europe. If we quote U8100 as reference, their description is acceptable. LG U8100 is claimed as the smallest clamshell 3G phone. The initial specification also shows the size is smaller than NEC and Sony Ericsson clamshell 3G phone. LG U8100 supports both 3G and 2.5G GSM/ GPRS network. It comes with a 2.2 inch, 26k TFT color display. The 3G features that U8100 supports includes video call, video-on-demand, MPEG 4 movie clip playback, and MP3 music play back. A simple short key is designed to reach camera, speaker phone directly.

120 grams is still an acceptable pocketable weight, how small do you want a phone to be man?

84 grams with T68i is fine. I don't look for 3G phone, because I like (I need) just ordinary GSM-phone.
I still admire the T66 with 59 grams (phone + battery).
Mobile phone over 100 grams is too heavy in nowadays. |
