I can't get any messengers working through the proxy. Only web-based messengers will work. The possible exception to this is ICQ, which has an option somewhere to allow connection through an HTTP proxy, which is what the O2 Proxy is, but I don't have any friends on ICQ... lol

Ok, i got it working on dial up by dialing the number 915000, how can i get it to go via GPRS? I have a T630...is there a special number to dial to start GPRS? Thanks.

EDIT: Fixed, it works great, i also managed to get Bit Torrent working through http proxy, so i can download files on the move hehe.

I have found i can't login to certain forums (not tried this one yet) in http pages (not https or through another program like messanger). I am using a FSC loox, with pocket pc 2002.

does using port 8080, as opposed to 80 make a difference?

interested in using bittorrent through a proxy http.
has anyone got any further details.

Also wondered what the top speeds people have got with o2 gprs. I need to get myself a data counter.

I am thinking of gettin and 86.5kbps CF modem. What sort of speeds could i expect from this and does it make a difference if its type I or type II.

Sorry so many questions, but i've only just got these settings going and want to get the most out of it.

Cheers
