Firstly synch your info with Outlook/Notes then backup your phone. Do master reset then re-synch, if all is well your done... if still problem, do a restore from backup. Or... instead of master reset, format C:, then re-synch... Tells us the results...

Ajack, thank for your info BUT i know people would tell me thing like that...sorry no offence
let me tell you my side of story:
when i first got it...do the setup;transfer my own data later install Sman 1.2C (a MUST for me) then the error started appear (Ajack, i believe not b'cause your Sman, read on) then i uninstalled sman (same error appear) called up SE support, they advised me to sync my PIM then master reset (done! but again error message!) sent to Ericserve(service centre in M'sia) Jeffrey installed the latest sw:
Phone R3C006
BT R5D
Organiser R4B03
CDA 162003/8 R4A04
ran for less than two days...BAND! error message again!(FYI,i install nothing but only qfileman on MS duo)
sorry i am very upset on this P900 considered i am a ex-P800 user.

Hi,
this is a known problem on the P900 since day 1, and sadly, SE doesn't seem to care or know about it. There is no real solution for it currently, and actually, if you take noticed, your hand writing recognition actually disappeared when you open any app that can input text, just before your "unexpected end of file" error occurs I've found out a way that at least have helped me tentatively to stop this problem, but don't know whether it helps for others or not. Try out X for UIQ here and use it to close all your apps when this happens and see if it helps, cos at least it works for me when Tracker and Sman doesn't:

Good Luck.

adnhk1,
you are right regarding the hand writing recognition problem as i face it as well...but that mean i have to make my P900 to restart just like MS Windows...

I have had the same problem with my P900. I simple switch off then on again of the phone solves this.

Hi Steve5424,
we know rebooting solves the problem, but that's not what we are looking for. See, with 5MB of free active RAM, why should the phone tell you that u had "Not Enough Memory" when all you want is try and goto control panel-->click on text input (by this time you'll notieced that the OS has somehow set it to NON)--> and click on Jot Pro? 5MB is not enough for Jot Pro to be "re"-activated? In the first place, why has the Jot Pro suddenly been de-activated (by the OS?) when all this while it was defaulted to be there?

I think I have ‘found’ out why there is frequence ‘unexpected end of file’ or ‘not enough memory’ (control panel>text input) in my P900.
I used to ‘flush out’ (in Sman 1.2c) or/and ‘end task’ (in file manager) when I was with P800 which run without any problem and when I apply the same on my P900 which I notice it will ‘crash’ when the memory used is ~10MB RAM (60%) so instead of manually ‘flush out’ or/and ‘end task’ my P900 I let P900 does the job automatically…and YES! My P900 doesn’t ‘crash’ anymore even the memory used is as high as 80%!
Oh just one thing the P900’s OS would ‘flush out’ Sman even though I select ‘harakiri’
