Would you prefer 'cotton swab'?

Cotton buds, eh?
Spanish seems to have many more localized versions than English though.
Shit, people in the midwest US have these things they call a "hot-dish" (spelling?); I still don't know exactly what that is...
But nevertheless, I use a 'cotton bud' to clean the camera lens of my P900.

What about flash bathroom?
I would venture that a hot dish be something of a dish formation that has been warmed by some sort of heating implement. Maybe? |

A hot-dish is (roughly) something like a casserole or something similar, prepared in a single dish.
I think... I am not from the mid-west US so I don't know.

it's worth remembering that this "lens" isn't really a lens at all, just a clear bit of protective plastic. It's like the "skylight" plain glass filter that professional photograpers usually have screwed onto the end of a lens on a pro camera - it has no photographic use or effect, it just protects the lens elements from everyday wear.
dust, dirt, and even small scratches on the "skylight", tho not desirable, will have less of an effect on the pictures than you might imagine - as the actual lens is focussed on a point far beyond the surface of the filter.
