Kyocera today announced the Blue Tooth™, the first in a series of wireless mouth-wearable products. The Blue Tooth is a custom-fitted dental prosthetic equipped with Bluetooth. With a simple click of the tooth, the Kyocera Blue Tooth can answer and end calls, initiate voice-activated calls and even check email. The Societal Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry will act as the primary sales channel for the Kyocera Interoperable Smile System (KISS) and will also perform the custom fitting required for optimal functionality of the devices. In addition to blue, Kyocera plans to offer the new device in a variety of colors including red, green and unnaturally-white white.
