I'll do it as soon as I return from lunch, around 1-1/2 hours from now.

I thought the T9 Capitalization errors were fixed in the last update... WTF?!?

Yes it is! You are very observant

I thought it would be good, if someone was wondering. The third one is for the latest one, I guess

I did the update also. I have not noticed anything new, except you must now have the most recent version (or more recent than mine) to restore from a backup... So, needless to say I cannot restore my phone back to its previous state.

"Why don't you download the most recent version of PC Suite," you may be thinking... Well, the link on SE's site is dead! Can you believe this shit???

I am very disappointed that this has happened. If this was a link to some meaningless software like MMS Studio or something, that's one thing. But to have a dead link when users are depending on this software to get back up and running is a COMPLETELY different thing.

I am not happy.

UPDATE: The link for the UK English version of the new PC Suite is NOT dead. I guess I'll be using the UK English version until this happens again. Damnit.

It did say that you have to have the new one, but I tried with the old PC Suite and it worked.

The old version kept telling me that "The device is in use."

I have installed the new version and I am restoring the backup now. Everythings seems to be working fine.

I've used the update service 2/3 times before without a hitch. However I when I try to get the latest version, I keep getting the following message:

Your device is not permitted to use this service

Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device.

We look forward to assist you again soon.

Thank you for using Sony Ericsson Update Service!

Any ideas anyone ?
