Hi guys

Hopefully some 1 can help me. i was changing a cover on my phone for the third or so time, when this time the screen pops completly out! no probs i thought so i tuck it back into where its meant to go, change covers etc. turn the phone on and the keypad lights up no sound or no screen (the no sound problem could be due to it being on silent) other than that, any suggestions

Have i broke the sceen some how?
Has static killed the board/screen of my hands?
Do i need to reload software or anything?

These hopefully seem like n00bish questions and any help will be appriciated

Thanks

*edit*

right i have fixed the sound problem, as i used my t630 for guidance to get it off silent, you can manage to play games etc (sound) but just no video, so i presume problem with the screen? any advice

I am sorry to tell you that your screen is probably broken. The only thing i can say is that you can go to a service centre and ask if they can do anything about it.

You think it could have been damaged by static? But obviously you observed the precautions for handling static sensitive devices and grounded yourself and wore an anti static wriststrap while working on the phone. You did, didn't you?

I had the same problem. Take it apart and look at where the ribbon cable connects to the main board. Try to push it in as the cable may have worked loose. Test by connecting the battery up to the back.
