I've a T610 which has worked fine with WAP for several months but last week I started having problems and I'm getting the run around with O2.

If I try to access WAP on the T610 either through 915000 or the 07712 numbers I get the message 'Communication error. Try again or Check your settings'.

I'm confident the settings are ok which can be confirmed by the fact that if I put another SIM card into the T610 I can connect to O2 WAP ok. However if I put my SIM in a Nokia 8310 I cannot connect.

This I feel points to the SIM card but I'm not convinced as I can access WAP via my Psion Series 5mx. I'm therefore a bit confused!

I've contacted O2 several times and they've sent me a new SIM and new settings, I've also spoken to the Tech Support but they say everything looks ok and suggested getting another SIM???

Another point of interest is I subscribe for Football Alerts on the O2 website and these have stopped coming through to my phone in the last couple of weeks. Nb. I can send and receive text messages ok as well as making and receiving calls.

Contacting O2 about this problem they mentioned I'd run out of credit on my account for Text Mesages which is interesting because I'm on contract and not Pay as you Go!

Can anyone suggest what to do? I'm very tempted to do a Master Reset on the phone but then I lose all my Ringtones/Pictures etc so I'm reluctant to do this, but will this fix it ?

I'm also tempted to take the phone and have it reflashed to see if this clears the problem. I had this done about a month ago as I use a Jabra Handsfree Bluetooth and there was the recent 'snarfing' warning so I upgraded the software to R3C002 at a CPW shop.

Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jon
