Hello to all helpful people:)
Im losing my cool as to how much im actually paying (per KB) when im downlaoading emails or browsing the internet on my P900.
It just seems since i got my GPRS Web activated with my network provider(Vodafone) my monthly phone bills have gone through the roof.
Now im not totally stupid as i realise im just using my phone alot more as it has so much more than my previous phones capabilities.
But i was just wondering if any of you guys and girls.... knew the respective rate for their network provider?:-?
If so i think it would be useful for other people to see and realise that every KB counts..and costs!
I wouldn`t say my swimming is fantastic..,But i once beat the man from Atlantis!

Here in the USA, T-Mobile charges a flat monthly rate ($4.99) for basic WAP/GRPS service.

It's really a great deal, and there's no extra charge for the amount of data you download--it's all included.

The competing GSM service, ATT Wireless, charges a monthly fee, AND a per-kilobyte surcharge.

I don't get what the heck T-Zones is?!?!? What is that? People said it's different from WAP, so what is it? And also, what is the difference between the $4.99 plan and the $19.99 plan?

Well i spoke to(probably a malinformed!)vodafone assistant who told me the charge is apparently 10p/kb download on Vodafone Live! wap pages..But if you browse any other wap/web pages other than Vodafone Live!! it would cost you an enormous 73p/kb

quoted from voda uk website,

WAP over GPRS Vodafone live! pages 0.1p per KB
Non live! pages 0.73p per KB

Is that what you meant to say

Btw,orange uk gprs internet is £3 per mb.
If nobody wants it.. put it on eBay.

Well that kinda clears that issue up for now.But i know what i heard when i nearly choked on my pot noodle!
Thought that Vodafone assistant was trippin..but i didn`t question her..I put the phone down n broke into a cold sweat
Well personally i think it should be a set charge per month rather than per KB.
So whats the charges on other major networks? Think it would be helpful for other bewildered peeps like me

Well im on the access pack from Orange which is unlimited gprs(they say 10mb)at £4 a month but Orange dont do this anymore, and as i was already on it.......
My billing date is the 24th,so far i've used this much,

Received:29859533
Sent:2165919
which is about 32mb (i think)

Looks like mobile networks dont do any good stuff anymore, but i have to keep the tariff im on to keep this nice little package.
Orange do the Orange World Access Pack now, starts at 3mb/4 hours csd at £4 a month, sad innit.

Here in Belgium, prepaid card from Proximus (Pay&Go), we've to pay 0,50 € / 100Kb, so when using softs like agile messenger, it's cheap but when using opera, size grows very quickly.

Once I used u full reload of 15€ in less than 30 Minutes :s

but when you starting a GPRS session you allways have to pay €0,50 even if you only using 10KB or less (like sending a email ect..)???
