I have to agree. I'd have thought that Sharp would sell it by the bucketload with specifications like that.

Just a great phone. It'll be on the market soon (march 2004 they say) but i guess it'll be quite expensive for a non-pda phone.Also..the display is brought by 262k by software means (so no real 262k screen)-same for the 1,1 MB camera...the price payed for the smallness of the phone.

my friend got a GX30. The problem is that it cant play stereo-mp3. Is that right? The headset that it comes with, isn't stereo, but I gave him a converter for regular headphones, and that doesn't work either. Anyone else have the same problem? |

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone knew about how good the calender is on the GX-30? I'm thinking of getting one, and I use the calender quite a lot on my 7250 for birthdays/reminders etc. It will probably be quite similar to the GX-20 so if anyone has used that before I'd be interested as to whether people think its anygood (the calender that is)
And is that right about the Mp3's not being in stereo? Thats lame..... |

Hi,
seems like it supports stereo:
http://213.249.206.60/europe/[....]/features.asp?type=mp3&id=gx30
"…listen via the loud speaker, or use the optional stereo headset"
I hope it's not just the mono signal then on two earphones...
Thes headset itself can be seen here:
http://213.249.206.60/europe/[....]sories/accessories.asp?id=gx30
But I think it's a BIT lame to just include the cheap mono one with a telephone that costs 299 € at Vodafone Germany (since Thursday 18th only 199€, but anyway...).
I tried it with the stereo headset from the Nokia 8310 (Stereo with switch) but it didn't work, so I gotta wait for the sharp headset, or have to do some soldering after figuring out the signal assignment, since it's not the standard one.
Cheers

Hi everyone, I have the sharp GX30 which works fine with the sd memory card but when I try to use a generic sd card it says the card is damaged which it is not!! An one else had this problem??
Thanks
