I just played with the t630. Its display is way way way better than the t610. Its colours are more vivid and dark. And the phone also dosen't get fingerprints as my t610 gets. and by the way this is my 100 post |

the my friends feature is completely network dependend. No use if your network does not support it! |

Although my network doesn't support "my friends" yet I still find it a useful function because although I have quite a full phonebook I can still add my immediate family and closest friends into "my friends" (you choose contacts to add to "my friends" from your phonebook).
If I then select one of those I can quickly dial them by pressing "call", and the "more" menu gives me the ability to
send text msg
send picture msg
send e-mail
manage contact
which is quicker/less keys than doing it the standard way so its still a little useful
If you use keypad lock it can be locked on that screen rather than going back to the default standby screen so that when you unlock the keys next time you are still in your "my friends" list.

I saw both the black & the white one yesterday, just one word...
STUNNING!
They both look soooo good and the screen is a massive improvement. This also complements the camera I think.
I can't decide which colour I like best! The white would look really cool along side an i-Pod.
I like the idea of the keylock on any screen, I'd find that very useful.

I played with the T-mbile black demo one today for the first time and I'm glad I got the white! putting them side by side it was immediately obvious to me I made the right choice
The black was not shiny at all, quite matt in fact and not to my taste, and it looks much better in photo that in real life IMHO

I know what u mean about the matt black but I quite like it. It is shiney round the screen though.
I reckon they both look better in real life than the pics (which looked good anyway!)

I my opinion, both T630's look and feel like cheap, plastic toys.
Definitely a large step backwards for Sony Ericsson.
The T610, whilst not perfect, was at least made with quality-feeling materials and had a somewhat classy, understated appearance.
The T630 on the other hand is about the closest SE have come to cheap, trashy-looking "fashion phones" a-la Nokia 7210 etc. Even the Z200 looks and feels more upmarket.
T630 has a brilliant screen though |

All the upcomming se phones will have the t630 finish. See the T650 (rumored). It does not have the t610 finish. It more like the t630. I agree to this because my t610 gets fingerprints and dirty very fast.
I also noticed one more thing about the t630. When you go in the service menu, there is no option for contast settings. this option is there on the t68 as well as on the T610!!
