Hi guys,
After reading many many posts regarding this topic,I found myself in trouble.
It seems that very soon I will have money to buy a smartphone.
The question is:which one?
I want to choose from the following:
Sony Ericsson P900 - very good and with many positive feedbacks, but I'll be in Finland where Nokia has everything and I am not sure about the service availability.
Nokia 7700 - looks pretty impressive in technical details but it is ugly and unpractical for phone calls (has to be used sideway when talking, weird ?!?!?!).Not available yet, but soon.
A Smartphone based on Microsoft Smartphone 2003.These are also good but there is already to much Microshit in our lives.
The point is that because I will spend a lot of money,I want that one that will have the best ratio of quality/price. Service quality is also important.
My feelings goes to SE P900,but I want to hear your opinios on this matter.

It can do everything.
No problems/bugs.

Hi energetic,
I just read a thread that said about one P900 problem.
If you remove the flip, the jog dial click and release are not to be seen on the phone.
Is that right?

Yes I read it before as well. I have removed the flip as well previously but I didnt face this problem. Now am using the flip again.
I dont know the reason why this guy had this problem.
It is true though, that some P900 models (and not only) may have some problems "statistically speaking".
Mine so far works fine!

I have a P800 and love it. I've used a friends P900 and love it even more. Buy the P900, I think you'll like it
I hear that may be releasing a replacement for the P900 in mid 2004. Various threads are in the "rumours" section of Esato.

XDA II - the most feature rich and powerful smartphone / pda-phone..
P900 vs. XDA II
If you haven't tried a pocket pc before, you would be overwhelmed with the XDA II.. If your'e a fan of the symbian OS though, the p900 suits you well.. |

XDA II
so powerful it sux the battery straight out after 4hrs of heavy usage
7700 is not yet released
also asking whether to choose between an phone or a blokia on an forum is not the smartest thing
but the P900 is smaller from the looks of it
and no one really knows what is in the 7700 for now
so unless u can wait, go for the P900

Thanks for all the input.
Yesterday I saw a real unit P900 and it is superb.Much better housing than P800.
Finally, XDAII has not convinced me.I will go for P900 in about 1-2 months.
THX again.
