not just Hotel TV's... also decoders for satelite and cable tv reception as I have a friend who still uses one. I'm sure there are other consumer products too.

I've seen one this summer; They look very nice outside but the picture quality is awful (just like their phones :-P)

Yeah, they make digital satellite receivers. Except they are always locking up. A lot like their phones.

Wish they had stayed 2 produce only tv etc. Otherwise d only positive reason of a nokia fone is we can have a lot of fun with them. What kind of magic would make us smile than 1 of their mob products?

nokia make all sorts of internal chipsets and stuff. They make freeview boxes, or at least used to - i do believe they are a major electronics company and a lot of other products use their chipsets in things like you home PC, pop it open , im sure there will be a nokia or motorolla chip in there somewhere! |

Don't forget that they made/make monitors, according to some friends who work at a computer store the Nokia screens are one of the best. *sceptic*

Nokia used to make boots for the sovjet army! Did u lot know that?
So when the sovjet thing dissapeerd they had to come up with somthing new. The mobile phone. So thank you very much Russia for the Nokia phones

Pace make the components for freeview boxes,although they dont make freeview boxes themselves anymore,the guy who told me this sells Technics,Panasonic and Sony stuff every day,he knows his business. Maybe nokia are different and make their own but all the others use Pace,even Sony! This may change with recordable freeview boxes hitting the market but they wont come cheap.

Nokia also make tyres with a company that is caled nokian. Today they are two different companys but for some years ago they was one company.
