I know that you can get the Black T630 on T-mobile for £180 but i dont want use that network and the customization (the pink buttons and logos) just ruin the look.
Does anyone know of a large retail shop like phone4u where i can get it unlocked?? The cheaper the better.

No. Only T-mobile. You could buy it on T-mobile Pay & Go, scratch off the logo's (ala vodaphone customisations) and then get it flashed with a unbranded firmware.

I am unconvinced at the moment as to whether the black will only be available on t-mobile.
The press release discusses this black model but if you look carefully at some of the black pictures in the T630 photo library there does appear to be some pictures of unbranded black T630s also.
I guess we'll see...

I suppose that could also be understood like this: that it will be sold exclusively through t-mobile for that limited period mentioned after which it will become more widely available. i.e. ot-mobile have it exclusively to start with

They say that, more people buy the phone becaused it's exclusive and "limited". Then  says that they will announce a black, unbranded, T630 cause it became so popular...
