@vlammetje - if @laffen is the one responsible for running the 'show', then the 6 mods must be the clowns or muppets on stage . . . (don't ban me guys, just showing some form of an entertainment here !) . . . |

of course most of Esato is English and I guess we can't cover every language of all members here but I personally use various online translators like babelfish, worldlingo, freetranslations etc so I can try and follow some of the threads in some of the languages I have no comprehension of
in regards to Spanish I do sit next to a lady who comes from Madrid so she has been helpful from time to time, and around my office in Frankfurt are many language speakers including Rumanian, Russian and quite a few others so I have been known to send a bit of text to them for a quick translation for something that looks like it might need further attention!

I've had a couple of cases where members have warned me of what was going on in topics where I am not familiar with the language. That is very handy us.

Hard job to translate.. but is necessary.. or you can assign mods 4 each language in esato

Actually, how did u get this titles? @laffen started it, thats clear, probably with some others. But mods, like @gowin from the other side of the earth, how did they join the esato team and started participade in esato managing?

@jojo i ment the way through personal touch, friendship, they were once members and later became mods, coz of as u wrote IN MINDS etc maybe some mods never met @laffen personally

@bobafett - I gues the best answer here is thru the posts/replies they made then. Just like what happened to anyone else (mod). When I was new here - October 2003, @masseur helped me in some of my 'Qs' posted then, so I was truly and really amazed what this man can do with all the major and minor aspects re: celfone and even PC related matters, that was even after I met my celfone technician whom I pay a hefty US$ 50.00/repair on my fone's softwares - when damaged! So, eventually I joined the 'Let's Promote @masseur as a Moderator' thread - almost majority of our populace at easto were in unison to the idea, after a week or 2, @masseur got the position and he *&^%$#+#@^&%$ me a &%$#@#@#$+&^% last Christmas - that was a Merry Christmas and a Thank You greeting done thru pm mates ! Due to very strict confidentiality some words were edited and blocked intentionally as to save my neck here (he,he,he). All I can say is that he's really a nice guy. So goes with @tranquil @vlammetje and the rest of the mods !
In a nutshell, @laffen saw their potentials made thru their responses and by the way they carry themselves in this forum, also how they behave and can hold still and composed even under pressure ! |

I founded a thread about @vlammetje as a possibly mod candidate, woke the old posts up, but no success with it :-(
