@kayske
Hello to you too

@bucheral
That was a cool idea, looks really good

@bucheral and anyone who wants to know how to do it.

This is a little guide about how you can make those dead old Ericsson batteries work again.

I took a random black battery though I already done this with a Hotline battery.
These batteries is on 6V so when we are changing the battery cells we have to use five 1.2V. Whats perfect is that the old battery cells have the size of an AA battery so we using five rechargeable 1.2V AA batteries that you can find in almost every store these days

Take an old Ericsson battery like this, it works with all batteries that looks like this.

Open it up carefully so you don't brake anything.

This is how you should solder the batteries and when I took apart this Ericsson battyry i found a white component I don't know what it is but it's there for a reason so whe have to use it in the new battery.

Before we mount the new battery in the case it's good to polish those surfaces that are in contact mith the phone and battery charger

It's very importent that plus and minus is mounted where it should be, you don't want to kill your phone!

It does charge perfectly..

And the old Ericsson is alive and well, ready to rock!

I have made this with several batteries and they all are working in every phone this kind of batteries fits in but I can't take responsibility if anyone who follows this guide makes an error and breaks his or hers phone.

I hope this will help some waking up their old Ericsson, if so, I would be glad to hear about it

Hi Stolleman,

thanks again for the guide, I think we all appreciate such postings!

Yesterday arrived a T60di from Canada, I already have the T60LX and the T60c with antenna. Does anybody know if there were other versions of the T60?

Strange enough you cannot distinguish the T60LX and the T60di from the outside. On the third pic you can see very well how the Ericsson T60 led to the SonyEricsson T62u

T60c / T60LX / T60di / T62u

But the joystick seems to be the difference between those two, the right one have four arrows?

What more phones and other Ericsson do you have besides those you show on the video?

Hello everyone! and Greetings for all Ericsson's oldschool phones!

This is my small collection. All phones are working, all made in Sweden (original batteries also) + one original unpacked BUS-11 .

All R520m's are retail versions, i thought orange versions of r520m are prototypes unit - mine not. I bought my first R520m in 2001, the price in Poland was incredibly high...

I thinks it's predecessor of SH888. Original battery but poor life ~3h standby.

Not for commercial use , beta firmware - EP3

I'm still looking for Ericsson SH 888 or I888 (this model is realy unique, so little chances...) and t66m.

@Stolleman: wow, let's say...we use the phones, not only the Sharkfins, still they are dead

Ladies and gentlemen, one of my biggest Ericsson dreams has become true, I do not know, if since 2004 any collector ever presented the following phones, here they are, from Japan Docomo! ER207 and ER209i, just arrived!

ER209i:

ER207:

The batteries are dead, no charger, but to test the phones, you can use a T28/29/39 battery more pics as always on my page!
